4/ Social media is worse. Fake accounts, fake engagement, fake influencers. How much of what you see is real people vs. automated noise? The lines are blurring fast.

3/ Search engines are flooded with AI-generated sludge, low-quality, keyword-stuffed articles that exist only to game the algorithm. The more AI content exists, the more AI scrapes and recycles it.

2/ AI doesn’t just generate content, it generates other AIs that do the same. Bots create posts, comment on posts, argue with other bots, and artificially boost engagement. It’s a feedback loop of fake interaction.

This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source.

Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.
