The drive to Cleveland from Akron isn't bad at all, like 40 minutes in low traffic. Cleveland doesn't have much happening tho. If you have friends there, that's a plus for sure. I know one person in Akron I could def connect you with. The bathhouse there is bigger/cheaper than Club Pitt.

Yeah. This is probably the best argument for Pittsburgh over the others. I'd definitely advise against Akron/Cleveland, being from there. Pittsburgh flaws may be massive, but blue-ish state with good queer physical and mental health centers are pretty comparatively strong. Plus, good furry scene.

That P*tchfork best rap albums list that just came out is certainly something. On one hand, no one probably needs a recycled canon list. On the other hand, that one is bafflingly incoherent and is trying to split too many differences. Just a weird hodgepodge that feels very 2025.

Despite all that, I was always hooked and engaged. I'm not sure the world feels as rich as Hollow Knight, despite being bigger and more diverse. it feels like a lonelier game, but you can make a case for that being fitting. Shakra and the Bell Beast are the clear favorite NPCs for me.

Great game and worth the wait, but the frustration and troll levels were a bit higher than I'd prefer. Especially with some of the platforming, gauntlet rooms, and slightly too elevated boss health pools. Mount Fay in particular can go fuck itself.

Took me like 70 hours but my mediocre gamer ass beat Act 2 of Silksong.

I'm a decent way towards unlocking Act 3 but decided to at least see how bad the final boss was and get that ending. She was pretty manageable.

So I'll likely at least get into Act 3. Will I fully finish it? We'll see...

Would go with but am sick as a dog.

Y'all, it's taken 2 1/2 years but I've finally been approved for disability. It's a major sign of relief to have some kind of financial flooring beneath me to keep me from totally falling and I'll finally have a small bit of autonomy back in my life.

Yeah. The design and story stuff really shine.

Played the first two missions in the Vagrantsong campaign with some friends before they got overwhelmed with work. It's really cool and fun, although the rules to figure out how to control the enemy can be pretty dense at first. I could see it getting repetitive over a whole campaign tho.
