Show #7: Really enjoyed Operation Mincemeat this evening. The cast was stellar, the big number I'd heard about (but refrained from listening to) lived up to it and received long, sustained applause afterward, and there was one line so depressing for its relevance that I wish I could quote it now.

Now that I've finally seen something else, I think I can admit that the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th shows I saw this year (as well as the 2nd) was Death Becomes Her. The show is pure joy, and these days joy is what I need.

10.02.2025 00:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I usually avoid Times Square or rush through it as quickly as possible if I have to go there. But tonight I found myself stopping to soak in what a beautiful night it was and how lucky I am to live here. A much needed moment of peace and thankfulness.

Won the lottery and really needed some gay joy right now, so Death Becomes Her ended up being my 2nd show of the year after all. Third time was just as good as the first. I love this show.

Show #2 of the Year was supposed to be Death Becomes Her for the 3rd time, this one with my kickball gays. But Megan Hilty and Jennifer Simard are both out tonight, so we got refunds and new tickets for a later date. Here's a look at time #2 last month, just so I have something to post on BlueSky π
