Sexual, reproductive, maternal, newborn, and adolescent health (SRMNAH) needs don’t pause during crises. Midwives can provide up to 90% of essential SRMNAH services. Yet their voices are often left out of global climate discussions, and their potential as climate resilience leaders is overlooked.

Addressing disruptions of SRMNCH services in conflict and post-conflict settings requires an evidence-based approach that prioritizes resilience, community ownership, integration, and sustainability.
