The right to peaceful protest is a cornerstone of democracy... the UK has turned a very worrying corner.

Mass starvation in Gaza and over 1,000 Palestinians killed while seeking aid since May. The government says the situation is intolerable yet they continue to tolerate it.

The UK needs to stop all arms exports to the Israeli Government - today.

David Lammy must realise that we’re past the point of threatening sanctions.

Every day the Government sits on its hands, more innocent civilians are being killed in Gaza while over a million are at risk of starvation.

Sanctions are needed now, including against Netanyahu.

Without the right to peaceful protest, there is no democracy. The UK, USA and many others are on the wrong side of history here.

The academic publishing industry generates vast revenues (circa $18 billion USD annually) with profit margins ~ 40%. Those yields are partly due to free labour from researchers writing, reviewing & editing articles without compensation and universities paying huge fees for access. That needs to end.

Yeah, it all depends on what your baseload and peak loads are. Most balcony PV systems are designed with zero export functionality, but it is possible to install a grid tied inverter for export with the right set up.

I think if you had half a dozen panels, on a well orientated balcony, you would be generating a useful amount of power.

Under typical operating conditions, a 400 W PV panel should produce around 300 W... Therefore a 400 W panel could produce approx. 1.2 to 2.8 kWh of electricity per day on average, but that will depend on panel orientation, solar radiation availability, and a few other factors.
