I completely agree. An artist friend of mine lost her profession because of this, this is morally wrong to do this to craftspeople.

If your ice cream develops ice crystals after it's been in the freezer for a bit, this is how to stop this from happening. Take some cling wrap and put it over the surface of the ice cream and press it down to get all of the air out. Then put the lid back on the carton. No more ice crystals.
