I need everyone to make a shitpost game that fits into at most 3 posts on here before the end of the year otherwise thr sun will not rise again

Players can choose to upgrade dice that crit, or add D4s to their pool equal to the number of die the witch rolled lower than the highest value of their dice, so long as their plan for death isn't something the curse has already blocked. When the player total roll beats the witches they die.

Each Water Bear gets a D4 to start while the witch (the GM) gathers 5D20 per player. The players take turns rolling their dice and describing the situation they put themselves in to try and end their tiny existence. The witch rolls all their die and describe how the curse keeps them alive.

Water Bear Wants to Die

Each of you are a microscopic adorable little Water Bear (or tardigrade for those in the know) Unfortunately you have been cursed with immortality by a tiny witch for chewing on her microscopic carrots. Can you out think the curse and find a way to die?

I'm kind of in the middle of both methods. I'll use a Google doc for ideas, or official rules text to make reading the text my focus, but I will lay out character sheets or assets to help inspire ideas for the game mechanics, or do layout halfway in to edit down bloat.

I've been talking about Castle Automatic a lot, but I want to make sure I pull the camera back and talk about the game system it's built for, HIS MAJESTY THE WORM, too. Gonna make a 🧵 about the core game's principles and add to it over the coming week.

Darn hard to find anymore, but my kids loved Adventure Maximus. Simple mad libs style adventure generation with cards and easy to understand mechanics, but unfortunately really shone with the custom 6 sided die that you can't get anymore. Had kids as young as 5 able to play, and 8 able to run it.

I'd love a workshop about self promotion and marketing for the non social media user. How best to engage in things like bluesky without falling into the trap of engagement for engagements sake.

I'm super proud of this, and my artist @psychhound.bsky.social has knocked the art out of the park. Taking the Gustave Doré art I was first inspired by and turning it into something that feels truly awesome.

However I'm not sure how to go about promoting something like this and have ZERO experience with this kind of social media. Any recommendations on how to get this out there?
