It has a built in 56K modem.
Not just that, it wasn't even the first console to support online modes. There were ways to play SNES/Megadrive online as well. Even the NES had some basic online functionalities for stuff like banking.
Been digging the Saturn recently due to a cartridge that can play backup games. A number of fan translations that are all amazing.
That being said, most people will probably lean to the dreamcast. Making your own writable cds play on it is easy and you can still game stuff like Quake 3 online!
I've been enjoying it so far. Mind, that could just be the autism and desire to collect things.

I wonder if they'd wait to do a remake of it like MGS3 and SH2. Would love it to have a bonus unlockable of the OG one too. Or a compilation pack?
My lazy & cheap cooking is often: frozen veggies in steamer / microwave and some kinda protein in the air fryer.
Heck, depending on the day, maybe even rice in the rice cooker. All basically automated, healthy, and I can be a useless piece of shit and play games.

Super Crazy Rhythm Castle by Konami. It was free on EPIC at some point but often goes on heavy sales.
I'd recommend checking dekudeals.com for any console sales and isthereanydeal.com for PC related sales.

Fortunately, console emulation will become easier in future as they're increasingly just PCs. Makes API calls easier to translate. (Like WINE)

Doing my yearly play of Castlevania SOTN and tackling the Saturn version on native hardware. It still tickles me that someone programmed this whole sequence of birds being born/raised and you can only see it by going back/forth into this section. There's no reward, it's just a silly thing.

It's genuinely great to just have to listen to something and not flip to one song per album, per artist or anything. Even found my old CDs and I have the CD player next to my work laptop for programming.
