All famines are man-made, all famines are political. Historians of empire and humanitarianism have known this forever. Gaza is not starving, Gaza is being starved, by Israel, and this starvation is enabled by our government and by every other government that does not step in to force food and aid.

Not much time left to catch the summer show at the National Gallery of Ireland. Mainie Jellett and Evie Hone brought modernist painting to this country. A must-see for fans of cubism and/or stained glass.

There are no words left for what the Israeli government and IDF are doing to Gazans.
And yet we must still keep finding the words to say it loudly: they are actively committing genocide and the our governments are letting them.

You can now add France… but apparently not the UK, Germany, Canada of Australia.
Shameful.
"Whats your take on these airdrops?"
Riham Jafari from ActionAid Palestine: "Airdrops is not a solution to.. the starving of 2.3m people in Gaza"
An Egyptian dude figured out that if you partially filled a plastic bottle with rice and other grains and threw it into the ocean from Egypt at the correct place given currents the bottles would wash ashore in Gaza within 96 hours so ordinary Egyptians are doing it and... it's worked?
