So very sorry to hear this sad news. Had the genuine pleasure of being interviewed by Seán before on Arena, and have always been a listener. A huge loss for Irish literature and culture. My deepest condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.

Sean is a terribly sad loss to the world of Irish arts and culture, an arts journalist with a terrific and unpretentious grasp on his subject, he will be very much missed.
