The donation of Β£8,000, plus Gift Aid, from Oban resident Robert Kincaid will buy kit including an ROV, a hydrophone, & a field microscope.

Our marine robotics team have been out beyond the #Hebridean islands to deploy a glider in the north-east Atlantic over the coming months.
Gliders are able to gather data in hard-to-reach parts of the ocean, filling gaps in our understanding of large-scale currents.π
