Newfoundland author, Michael Crummey, has won the 2025 Dublin Literary Award.
(As a fellow Atlantic Canadian, Iโm thrilled! ๐๐ป)

This is a new low. The Chicago Sun Times posted a summer reading list clearly written by AI. Itโs got some real authorsโฆ and a lot of fake books.

If you enjoyed Ricks character arc on The White Lotus, wait til you hear about Walton Higginsโ real life arc about returning to Thailand. (Also, this interview is fab!)

The White Lotus is a masterclass in character arcs. Belindaโs, especially with that echo to Tonya, was superb!

I finished watching Succession last night and my god it is absolutely brilliant! Why do we often consider television a lesser art form? The writing, character development, and plotting are top notch and deserve just as much praise as an acclaimed novel or film.
More please!
