I connected a WiFi enabled solenoid valve to a hose and set up a script on my phone so when the camera detected a squirrel it got blasted with the hose briefly. It was very effective.

kinda wild how Valve, a company with like 350 employees, can build an ARM VR headset that runs x86 games while Microsoft can't make Windows sleep or shutdown properly.

Fourth (and honestly the most likely) option is handhelds fizzle out as a viable mainstream category and everyone moves on.

Like, assuming MS remains in the hardware business, there's three options:

- Everything (Next-gen Consoles, handhelds) runs Xbox OS and can play Xbox and PC games
- Everything runs Windows. Can they play Xbox games?
- They continue as today - Consoles run Xbox OS, everything else runs Windows.

That's fair. I do wonder where they go now? If we take them at their word that they will make new Xbox consoles, what do they run? Windows?

I dunno if it is technically infeasible though, both Xbox consoles and the Ally run on AMD SOCs, they can't be *that* different?

Xbox OS, of course, famously a slimmed down version of Windows. Really don't get why they just don't put that on these devices.
