#Swansea entered the 1981/82 season - their top flight debut - on the back of 3 promotions in 4 seasons.

The mainly Welsh squad of #SCAFC finished 6th, an impressive feat for a club who had been in the Fourth Division as recently as 1978.

I thought I read that early international matches had the players wearing different colour stockings to identify them. Is this the case do you think, and the colourisation has missed it? I think I read this in a history of Queens Park, referring to the QP/Wanderers FA cup game but also early intls.

I don't agree with CPFC's interpretation of history I'm afraid, and i dont think many sports historians do either. ~30 years without any record of the club's existence to me means a new club were born, regardless of the company who founded them being the same.

Civil Service FC is the only original member of the Football Association still playing the game today.

The club compete in the Southern Amateur League Division One, and play in #Chiswick, West London.
