My 5 Random Questions podcast has been nominated for both "Best Interview Podcast" and "Best Indie Podcast of the Year" in the 2025 Ear Worthy Awards, while One Minute Podcast Tips has been nominated for "Best Short-Form Podcast".

That's where I always struggle, lighting set up and camera settings.

It can be a mix of self infliction, but also really bad advice ftom so-called experts that start podcasters off on the wrong footing to begin with.

Not gonna sugarcoat it - it's exhausting being a solo, independent podcaster/creator.

Seriously - @davejackson.bsky.social makes this point all the time. Yes, online communities can be great for feedback, etc, but when it comes to how a platform works, there is no-one better than the actual team behind it.
