Anxiety is absolutely ruining my life. I can barely eat or sleep. I’m a wreck. And there is no way out. I’m suffocating.

Mum update: I was right to push, and about the cause. It’s not an ‘overnight emergency’ but it is urgent and is being investigated asap. She has bloods booked and a referral made.

Fighting ‘the system’ is exhausting, but for now we are fine 🤍

Came home today to a yellow mother.

GP did NOT want to treat it as an emergency, despite that being page 1 NHS advice. Offered a blood test in a week. She’s 80, has gallstones.

We argued an emergency appointment out of them. Woe betide them if they do not immediately refer her to A&E.

I don’t know this swan; we’re not acquainted. She was loitering in our regular family’s territory recently, and they were nowhere to be seen. I hope this isn’t an indication that they’re not Ok. Hopefully just a ‘passer-by’.

A fully fledged young pigeon nonchalantly sits among the bird spikes like he doesn’t have a care in the world. And who knows…? Maybe he don’t….

Here’s our squab, looking quite grown up. Refusing to leave mum and dad, and they haven’t chased him away yet. Surprising, as they seem to be building another nest. 🪺
