Every time I see a video of someone standing up to ICE it has been women. Women are the ones stepping up to PROTECT those around them. And it makes me think about how evangelicals always claim it is men who do the Protecting. All that evangelical men protect is themselves and power.

In my own personal life, I'm trying to make an effort to follow as many females as possible and only follow a male voice if they are actually connected to me and likely to hear my voice.

I really enjoyed this reading. I love that final thought: that non-facts lead us to truth. I also really found it interesting that she blamed capitalism for a lack of use of imagination. What did you like about this?

I'm working my way through Ecclesiastes this year. Today as I was reading I was thinking about the Spirit of Wisdom mentioned in Isaiah 11. I know there are plenty of things to be pressed and stressed about, but I feel the Lord calling his children to fix our eyes on something greater.

"He is guilty; he has been found guilty by a jury of his peers. He will not be subject to a penalty because he has been elected president of the United States"

That is something but it isn't justice.

Sentencing Trump to an unconditional discharge means that yes, he can basically shoot somebody on Fifth Avenue and get away with it

It means that-if you’re rich and powerful enough-you can get away with anything

It means the American justice system has utterly failed us

THAT’S what it means

Musk silenced his critics on twitter and Bezos silenced his critics on the paper. This is the age of the American oligarchs. They own congress, the Supreme Court, the presidency and the media.
