This came up on my Dad’s Facebook memory feed. His college day’s on a Rag Parade. They were all dressed as Spartacus (Kirk Douglas’ movie must have been popular at this time) and chained together. Dad wrote the poem below as a tribute to two of his former college friends that had passed away.

A few additional amendments now the paint is dry (new vs original). I wanted the flowers to be more prominent and more detail in the foreground. As well as adding yellow flowers across the field.
