Not too long following its conversion to 37904, this wonderful vision of Railfreight passes through Cardiff on its way to Canton. Always my preferred variant of this livery, wasnβt too keen on the red stripe addition that followed.

The brochure was, I think, produced for the IVA rail exhibition in Hamburg in 1988. Privileged to join guests at Darlington station in the small hours of this morning, to welcome a replica of Stephenson's Locomotion No. 1 as it joined the Darlington-liveried @lner.co.uk Azuma train before recreating its journey to Stockton just as the original had 200 years previously to the day π
