Right I get it. What I’m saying is blowing cold air down in summer is good, but isn’t blowing warm air down in winter less efficient than warming the air at the bottom of the room?

Related: a thing I’ve never understood about heat pumps is don’t they usually require cold and hot air to share the same ducts and registers? So half the year you’re pushing air the wrong way. AC vents in the ceiling and fin tube registers on the floor seem more “last mile” efficient.
