I was lucky that my parents paid for mine. And it was 25 years ago. But yeah, it was quite tough. My brother is currently working to get his license back, having lost it years ago. And even though he only has to do half of the whole thing, I understand it is still quite expensive.

Colossal Squig (and a regular squig for scale), painted for an informal painting thing at the local Warhammer Store. The theme was "Squignado", so I figured it was the right to finally finish this guy.

Little progress on the ratlings has been made. However, I did test out a painting technique I may use on my Titans for Legion Imperialis. I don't have much experience with sponging, so I need practice, but overall, I'm pretty happy with it.

My first thought was Tau... but I want to see what you do with Drukhari :)

Alright, I'm at the point where he can be called "done". At least for the test mini. Some decorative elements are still missing, but that's something for later. Just 11 more :)

Haven't posted anything in a while...

Got a real hard time making myself paint. This is the best I could do the past weeks. Just the base colors, of course. At least I know that broadly speaking the color scheme works.
