These two radiators heat this whole space, even the mezzanine. We have a small one in each bedroom and they're just as good. Excuse the mess.

I think ours are convection. I don't know about these things tbh. I turn it on, it gets hot. I turn it off, It goes cold. Our electricity prices went down by 14% this year so we don't really think of the cost. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can help.

We have electric radiators and get by ok with them btw. Nothing fancy about them, no timers or anything but they heat our large space sufficiently.
