Mexico has been a very sick kitty and we’ve discovered he has a hiatal hernia, and possibly a diaphragmatic hernia as well. 😢
It means he faces a high-risk surgery with an uncertain outcome.

Poor Toby was found as a stray with a serious leg injury. 😢

Harvey’s new best friends are the people at Sponsor Energy! 💚

Their Canada Day 🇨🇦event, Country for Critters, raised over $132,000 for 13 charities! This means more than $10,000 is coming to #AARCS! 🙌

We have almost 500 animals in care. This donation can feed nearly every one for a month!

Summer is a busy time for us, but with so many people on vacation we desperately need more 🏡 foster homes AND volunteers!
You can make a huge difference by providing a safe and loving space for an animal, or helping out in many ways at the shelter. 🐾

We’re looking for volunteers to LOCK IN OUR DOG KENNELS! They’ll stay kenneled with an animal 🐶 until they reach their fundraising goal. Last year, they raised $80,000! 🤯
