It's funny. I had originally BYD grouped with Ora. And, yeah, no clue how you federalize any of the Chinese EVs – completely ignoring the active hostility from the federal gov't towards these cars.

I have the most faith in the Chinese brands (particularly Ora) in pulling something like that off. I don't think Daihatsu could realistically hack it outside of Japan.
