A group of bird's nest fungi attached to a small twig. The "eggs" inside the nest contain the spores, and rely on raindrops to splash them out of the nest.

As fog lifted on a sunny day in the Oregon Coast Range, we were treated to a fogbow, caused by sunlight refracting through droplets of fog. They lack much color, and are somewhat rare, so it was a treat to see.
