He’s said quite a bit in a few places, actually; did a whole interview about it on the Labyrinths podcast with Amanda Knox, and talks about it relatively often and with great candor on his solo Patreon podcast, Dear John Letters. He’s in a decent place: still a bit sad but not angry at all.

Can’t believe Pableaux Johnson is gone. Such a kind, creative soul & a champion for New Orleans culture. Some small comfort in the fact that he passed doing what he loved - camera in hand, shooting a second line. I’ll miss seeing him every Mardi Gras day out in the streets. Rest in peace, friend.
