In fact - contrary to what I just wrote above - some of Pixie's 'music paintings' do look quite different compared to her tarot paintings and other works, which look more similar in style.

Quite. If you look at other works by Smith, you can immediately recognise her style, it's "all Pamela". Whereas with Harris, her other works look stylistically quite different compared to the Thoth deck. I'd imagine it comes down to Waite having been satisfied with Pixie's style; had he asked her

Before you ask: no, I haven't taken any drugs. This is just me tripping on tarot (although I'd preferred to have slept but tough luck)

..in her art; Egyptian deities becoming mathematical principles, through projective geometry, which lacks the 5th axiom or parallel axiom.. and hence, every point becomes the origo, which mirrors the infinite universe we live in - the origo being everywhere and nowhere at once.

..and how non-euclidean geometry finds parallels (cough) in Scriabin's and Alkan's massive works, which seemingly lack the centre or usual points of reference. The genius of Frieda Harris, being able to portray 3D ideas on a 2D surface; how Crowley's vision of the New Aeon found its parallel

The typing is clearly starting to take its toll... last night I was wide awake around 5am as the brain refused to shut up. I was thinking about Crowley & Harris and what they managed to achieve in those circumstances (WW2), (cont.)

Wishing everyone a stable Solstice, whether Summer or Winter, and here's to the Justice Chariot rolling ahead with the Magician and Empress enjoying the ride!

The Magician reaches the highest point of the Heavens, bringing the Fire down to Earth, where the Empress gives an unenthusiastic applause with a smirk, and so the Solar Chariot speeds ahead with a renewed vigour.

Combined, they produce 11, which is either Justice or Strength, depending on where you stand. I find 11 quite telling, as it's the midway point of the trump sequence, and Strength/Justice reversal could mirror the Summer/Winter solstice taking place today.

Interesting the choice should be Pauli - the only quantum physicist to have interacted with Jung (to my knowledge anyway). Setting aside theoretical physics, of which I know nothing about, let's interpret the number from tarot POV. 1 is the Magician, 3 is the Empress, and 7 is the Chariot.
