*tap tap* doing theatre (and getting medication) is a great balm for a weary soul. A whirlwind 5 weeks of Pirates of Penzance rehearsal and performance, and so much time with my people really did wonders.

I feel like I’m losing it, but I’m also just numb to everything. My insurance came with an EAP so I have 3 appointments with a therapist (had the first one yesterday) but *screams* I’d cry if I could, but numb 🙃🫥🫠

the worst part is now I’m out my $2000 flight to Japan, because there’s no way I can swing that trip looking at the current job market.

Positively giddy over the fact that we played Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet (suite no 2) in orchestra for the first time tonight. Music that I’ve been obsessed with since I worked on the ballet over a decade ago in Milwaukee.

My only personal Black Friday purchase. My first sewing machine is still working *fine*, but she’s entirely analog and not as versatile as I’d like these days. She’s also almost 20 years old, and not as reliable as she once was. Excited to dig in with the costumes I have on my list

Officially it’s the 2nd time I’ve tested positive, but the pretty sure I had it feb 2020, I had a positive test in dec 2021 but never felt sick, and now. Whatever I had in 2020 felt worse than this, but this exhaustion is a new thing entirely.
