Inkwell is holding a paper colored rainbow with 'LGBTQA' upon it. Inkwell is holding a hand up in a 'stop' motion. Behind the table is the vague sense of a crowd also holding signs. Above image it reads: "CARTOONISTS Against Adult Content CENSORSHIP"

With the awful news from the last couple hours, this post from the political optimism subreddit helped to break through a bit of the despair fog. Repubs know this is political suicide, ICE's support is crumbling despite the budget increase, and there's a myriad of ways to fight back. Keep strong.

He was kind and gracious, and was used to people being put off by his posture and size. His story of how he ended up like that is informative. 1/

a screen from newgrounds. the text is as follows: How to Detect AI on the Newgrounds Audio Portal By Quest and ADR3-N The Rise of Generative AI ๏ปฟ As generative AI (GenAI) tools have become more accessible, Newgrounds has received an alarming amount of AI-generated audio content. This โmusicโ lacks the spirit and creativity of genuine, human effort and degrades the quality of the Audio Portal with cookie-cutter tracks that essentially sound the same. Furthermore, GenAI songs represent a certain amount of legal risk to our site, as AI models are trained on copyrighted material without consent.
newgrounds to their credit has banned all genAI stuff, and they have a good article up on how to hear (or otherwise detect) genAI music, worth reading!: www.newgrounds.com/wiki/help-in...
very fond of this extremely succinct and dry but lethal description of genAI music ๐ฅ

09.06.2025 03:11 โ ๐ 26959 ๐ 6428 ๐ฌ 158 ๐ 131an email from me to the toonboom sales team, it reads: Hello Toonboom sales team, I'm hoping to get clarity and air out concerns I have regarding the planned removal of the perpetual license. I am Eden Timm, a perpetual license owner, and I paid the very high upfront cost of a perpetual license, and opted to pay yearly on top of that, for the customer support for continual upgrades. With the planned removal of the perpetual license, will I be left in the lurch, having to shell out thousands of dollars a year moving forwards? It's frustrating to be a loyal customer, to make the choice to spend a steep price with the guarantee I could get upgrades moving forwards as long as I paid EXTRA for your other services. Hearing now that this system is being removed only a few years after I opted in is frankly infuriating and deceptive. And beyond that, subscription costs are going up as well, which additionally sours any loyalty I had for your software. So my question is - as a perpetual license owner who made the decision to dump a huge sum of money on your product ALONG WITH paying yearly for customer service, instead of going with a subscription, am I screwed here? What was the point of paying those premium prices if I don't get premium service? Why were perpetual license holders not informed of this change? What options are there moving forward to make it worth it to continue to pay for your services? Looking forward to your response. Eden Timm
re: the toonboom perpetual license debacle - you can air out your grievances in the discord, but it will do much better to email toonboom directly - sales@toonboom.com. Discord is hard to track, emails in inboxes is clear and direct.
