No particular order. No real surprises here I'm sure but I do love some variety. Games like Forza Horizon 5, Mario Galaxy, Resi 7, Assassin's Creed Origins, It Takes Two and Astro Bot could all easily be on this list.

Finally rolled credits on Donkey Kong Bananza. It wore a little thin in the middle there but ended VERY strong. Some post-game to work through but Mafia and Dead Take aren't going to play themselves...

As someone rightly prohibited from driving due to mental health and medication, I don't think eye exams nor age limits are enough. Full health checks with a GP and eye exams every 2-3 years for ALL drivers would save lives.

Got back from the vet and the cat's meds are working perfectly. Thyroid numbers have dropped to ideal, her resting heart rate is down and her weight is up. So happy the old girl is doing so much better

Same here. The screen quality is amazing. If you told me it was an OLED screen, given I play the Steam Deck a lot, I wouldn't question it.

The fact that Donkey Kong Bananza could wind up being my Game of the Year when Clair Obscur and Death Stranding 2 exist is... Mindblowing, but here we are.

Donkey Kong Bananza is the most "fun" I've had in a game since Astro Bot, which itself was the most fun since Mario Odyssey. Pure joy in game form. Exploring, smashing up and collecting everything. Keeping me afloat in a pretty severe depression.

The sound design is also incredible. Absolutely terrifying stuff.

There's a trophy for playing without the radio activated. When I did a second playthrough I switched the damn thing off anyway because surprise attacks were WAY less scary than that constant ominous noise😂😭

Labour will listen to ANYBODY about someone's fitness to work except actual doctors. Physiotherapists, occupational therapists and work coaches who don't even know how UC works are all being empowered while doctors are ignored. This country's attitude to disability is fundamentally broken.

Took a day away from rebuilding Australia to return to this absolute gem and take on the new DLC levels. Tough but rewarding end(?) to a masterpiece of a game. Astro Bot, it's been fun. See you in the sequel.

Thank you so much. I'm glad your boy seems to be doing better 🥰 it's so hard knowing they're sick, isn't it? Our vet is pushing for radioactive iodine treatment but I'm not sure she could cope with that at her age, so we're going with meds. I just keep hugging her every time she comes to me.
