That is why it's important not to deport them but to help them get documented.
It actually makes economic sense.
The difference is God demands loyalty without evidence he exists, while science provides evidence and lets us come to our own conclusions. If your conclusion differs from science, that means you’re wrong. That’s because science has these things called “facts”, while religion does not.

For the first 3 years, I made the money while he was a househusband. It worked for us. Then I had health issues, went back to college, and am ready and trying to find a career job again.

I never got over that.
I loved my little Isis and I was forced to leave her. It's probably why I am so dedicated to my pets.
I'm not the type to complain about "triggers," but I wish companies would consider people with trauma when coming up with advertising.
Purina's new ad about domestic violence is a great cause, but the ad itself is upsetting.
I lost a cat to domestic violence. And by lost, I mean she disappeared.
I grew up with Christopher Reeve as my superman and he will always be that for me.
However, I adore Henry Cavil, even though I have yet to watch his Superman movies. I just think he's overall a great person with morals and empathy.
This post makes me want to watch the new movie though.
Never watched his show because I just didn't buy him as Superman and have never considered him to be part of that group.
Maybe my subconscious knew that deep down he was just a terrible human being.
And not in government

He would just claim it was official business and, again, never face consequences.
The truth here is so ever relevant, is so simple and profound. I think I might pop it into my next book. Sharing yet again:

Regular gas today was $3.199 per gallon, up from $2.999 when I worked on Saturday, July 26.

They could pay low-level workers more and pay themselves less, putting them in a lower tax bracket.
We didn't plan on taking in kittens, so we couldn't plan this months in advance, which is what every rescue and vet told me. Apparently I was supposed to schedule their surgeries before I even found the kittens in a park.
28.07.2025 07:23 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0We do not have an SPCA within an hour's drive, and they put priority on county animals over out-of-county animals. Plus they had a long wait-list.
28.07.2025 07:22 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Low cost in our area is $250+ per cat. We went with a local surgery center that charged $150. And by "surgery center" I mean the basement of a house.
These were dumped kittens, so we needed something fast because they were already peeing on everything. Had to keep them because no rescue would help.
My current one is expensive, but decent. But I took the kittens I found elsewhere to get spayed bc the price was insane.
The last two I had were awful. The last one wouldn't even see my cat before he died. My boy saw them for 11 years, but they didn't have time for him during his last 2 months.
She increased one of my cat's meds by like 300% after that upgrade. It could have been bought at Walgreens for a fraction of the price, but the vet didn't want me to know that. Thankfully another vet at her office told me. Bought a year's supply for less than my vet was charging for a 30-day supply.
25.07.2025 04:34 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I don't doubt that, but I've had some really awful vets. Like one who bragged about a $1mil upgrade to her lobby and then jacked up prices. I didn't need to watch expensive fish while I waited.
25.07.2025 04:31 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0Nah. Maybe some, but not most of them. If they were, they wouldn't nickel and dime you so much, and they wouldn't charge $500 to spay ONE stray kitten.

Makes sense: she was a stray who decided she wanted to live with me. I didn't argue with her. 6 years later and she still looks at me like I'm her favorite human in the world.
