This was our little dog pack for quite a few years. Bailey, Carson and Zoey. I hope they're reunited now in whatever beautiful space exists for dog souls. Dogs are a gift and I'll fight anyone who says different.

Combat boots! I had the best pair of combat boots! Hub gave them to me... I wore them allll the time thru the late 80s & the 90s.
And glitter! And all my thrifted jeans and skirts! And crimped hair with baby barrettes. And my favorite dark burgundy lipstick.

This is the only thing I can give... the love I left behind.

In the wee hours this morning our Zoey crossed the 🌈. Our hearts hurt. Our home is a little emptier. But when we feel ready, we will keep these words in mind (and heart)...
Zoey came to us after our Shelby girl passed... She would want us to pass that love forward again.❤️

We kept going back and forth on whether she's 19 or 20. We adopted her in 2010. The shelter said she was 2 or 3; our vet said 4 or 5.
She's here in the kitchen snugged into her cozy bed with blankets, daddy's tshirt & mommy close by. She's where she always loved to be: in the middle of everything

I'm sitting here w/ my beautiful, messy,scruffy wonderful old girl as she journeys from this world to the next. She's 19. Do it for sure. I use it all the time. It travels up and down stairs w/ me... snugging in my fave chair w a book and then on the bed for extra coziness. It fast became my fave throw blanket.

This blanket is so beautiful... and warm. It has a nice weight to it too.

My grocery order and a big snow squall arrived at the same time. Groceries waited while I went out and danced around the back yard in the snow. ❄️😍

First snow fall... I always go out and twirl a little, dance like a happy child... just because snow is still pure magick to me.

We did! And lost power for short periods about 5-6 times incl. this morning ( AFTER the coffee had finished brewing thankfully).
Halloween was perfect! Great day! Spent the afternoon w/ one of my sons. Got a free coffee @ a local coffee shop because I was dressed up. Another hat by you.

this is a real question for me. Second year going to a Paranormal Symposium in Gettysburgh (this past August) and looking at the sign, merch , brochures etc for this Ghost Tour biz and wondering why???

This morning Charlie and I stood in the mist & overcast, watching leaves drifting down on wind gusts; enjoying a quietly beautiful fall moment.
Then I ruined it by scooping him up for a picture. Not his favourite thing. But kisses helped a little.

Have you had any significant rain? We're still marked in a drought zone. I'm wayyyyy down NY--Hudson Valley. We've had what felt like big rain in the Nor'Easter the blew through but Hub said the total for that was just a little over an inch. We get little bursts of rain but it barely measures.

Piss Off!

Oat milk in my tea along w/ 2 spoons sugar if it's black tea. Herb tea I don't do sugar or milk.
Oat milk creamer in my coffee w/ 1 spoon sugar. I like Brown sugar cookie oat milk creamer; it's not as sweet as the name sounds; mellow flavor. If it's ice coffee I do no sugar, just oat milk creamer.
