The concept of death in itself is foreign and scary to us. Death is an eldritch horror.

We dont know the "truth" or fate of humanity- until we die. Death is a mystery to mankind. It's the one thing we cannot explore and come back from. We dont have the answers until we take our last breath and cross over.

The fact that people dont "see" you or decide to remember your name until ur facing/close to death- idk. I may be super over reaching, but seeing people go through these stages irl kinda makes me feel like there's a correlation

After watching iron lung idk if it's an accurate take- but the constant exposure to radiation, the tumors, the slow acceptance that ur not going to make it out alive- I feel like he literally went through the 5 stages of grief- reminds me a lot of people who face terminal illness.

Meditating and learning to be okay with boredom has been quite the challenge. Not only do i have to deflect every harmful intrusive thought that comes to mind, I also have to be comfortable being in a room with myself. Its a humbling experience
