finally played the first 3 ace attorney games and it was pretty good overall! mixed in quality here and there, and the cross-examination isn't exactly intuitive a good chunk of the time, but it was well worth it for that last case, which was phenomenal.

if you put the new facewear piece on top of the everseeker headpiece it shares the model with you get this cool glitchy effect. definitely unintentional, but who knows if it'll get patched.

we also got rank 5 speed on phase 1 and, like... if i wasn't playing safe cuz it was my first time doing it on astro (didn't want to grief by not knowing mits for phase 2) i could've gotten a 99 too...

got m12s cleared! a friend asked me if i wanted to join his group for a run. i hadn't gotten past the first mechanic of phase 2, but we one-shot it anyway. the power of studying!! it does make my progress chart look a little goofy, though.

after how grueling 11 was in pf i took a week off and started m12s prog yesterday and just hit phase 2. met my goal for the weekend. maybe i push for the clear next weekend?

m11s down. tyranny time is finally over. this was a rough one for week 1 party finder for sure. was in clear parties for an insane amount of time.

got the m10s clear this morning. going to bed was definitely the play, there was a ton of desperate people trying to get the clear day 1 last night and that was causing mistakes.

not many people at m11s so it's a lot of sitting in pf, but i'm happy enough with my progress that i'm chilling.

cleared m9s in pf this morning and got to m10s enrage later before stuff came up. pretty fun tier so far!

I'M FINALLY FREE!!! pushed to finish this before the year was over. it took me 8 months of on-and-off play. there's some good stuff in here for sure, but it was a quantity over quality thing that made so much of it drag. can't in good conscience recommend it, but overall, eh, it was an alright time.

my hunch is on 8.0 being a viking expansion

was gifted this on christmas and played through it with friends. was a decent enough time. seung-yi is way too child-coded though and the whole relationship was incredibly awkward. we loved sausage man.

surely erasing legs, the only part of death remaining in a death-less world, must mean something, right? i'm probably reading into it too much.

also the mistwake gear is really good, finished collecting the outfits i wanted last night. these and the yuweyawata sets are the best dungeon sets of dawntrail for me for sure.

- normal raids are good overall but get weaker as you progress through them. hopefully just from the amount of pruning from savage needed
- new occult crescent jobs are very uninteresting. disappointed in mystic knight, especially
- new frontlines map is pretty bad. way, way too big.

scattered 7.4 thoughts after one week:
- best patch msq since shb
- dungeon is pretty but mechanically maybe just average for dt
- extreme is pretty simple but fun, leaning heavily into rarely used gimmicks. one of the best of dt
- arcadion story finale was disappointing but ultimately just ok
