damn, the way he speaks while surrounded by reporters looking for any salacious detail to incrimnate him or his neighbor is very interesting. slow, deliberate, thoughtful, concise; seems to be becoming less and less common.

The President has named a new Acting Librarian of Congress. It's his former defense lawyer. Todd Blanche, a former personal lawyer for President Trump, is now acting Librarian of Congress. According to his public profile, Blanche has no experience working in libraries or archives.

A lot of people are (rightfully!) pointing out that this white guy with zero relevant qualifications replaced a highly skilled and competent Black woman as Librarian of Congress.

It sure seems like Trump wants someone in the role who will let Elon use all the data for training his fascist AI.

Trump has successfully usurped Article I of the constitution, and it’s terrifying the extent to which it’s been normalized.

But to me, it’s not the press at fault, but Congressional Democrats, who have done nothing to convey the suspension of constitutional rule to the public.
