In-game screenshot of Rolling Gizmo Galaxy
During Super Mario Galaxy's ending credits, one of the images shown is of Rolling Gizmo Galaxy.
This image lacks the 1-UP mushroom present in the yellow cogwheel platform, which suggests it was added to the level after the staff roll images were taken.

There's not a lot of information on the Super Mario Galaxy Kiosk Demo, I encourage you to aid in its documentation: bsky.app/profile/come...
On October 27th, 2007, 5 days before Super Mario Galaxy was released in Japan, a YouTube video of the game was uploaded by user "X M".
This copy of the game may be from a patched, leaked kiosk Demo version of Super Mario Galaxy, which was circulating online around this time.

Super Mario Galaxy In space, everyone will hear you scream... with glee There are some moments in gaming that define why we're all here right now, moments that explain why we love games so much. They're the main reasons we chose to be games journalists and the main reasons you're reading this magazine. These moments are different for each individual gamer; for you it could be that death in Final Fantasy VII, for us it could be scoring directly from a corner in the original International Superstar Soccer. But then there are those that almost universally affect everyone: doing your first loop-the-loop in Sonic The Hedgehog, getting your first Tetris, the first time you swung the Wii Remote playing tennis in Wii Sports, and so forth. It seems appropriate for this review then that the franchise responsible for most of these moments is the Mario series. Everyone who has played their fair share of games can relate to sliding down their first flagpole in Super Mario Bros, finding Yoshi for the first time in Super Mario` World, running around Peach's castle grounds in Super Mario 64 and so on. Now, with Mario's first proper adventure on Nintendo's fifth generation console, the plan is to provide some more of these defining... "There are some moments in gaming that define why we're all here right now"
The Star Rings blast Mario through space towards the next part of the stage. There are loads of old Mushroom Kingdom enemies littered throughout the game. Is it just us or are Piranha Plants getting slightly bigger? We remember back in the day when they just came out of pipes.
Review Super Mario Galaxy "Retro-heads are more than catered for with load of nods to the old-school" Growth hormones may be banned in the Mushroom Kingdom but this is space. Mario's invisible javelin gag wasn't fooling anyone. It doesn't take long to get your head round the gravity. moments and revolutionise platforming all over again, as had been done with Super Mario 64 just over a decade ago. Thankfully, we can safely state "mission accomplished", as Super Mario Galaxy is one of the finest games we've ever played. The Look Of Love It's funny, because the thing that annoys us most about Galaxy is that its fantastic Woot! Dry Bones is back! That's right, we said "woot". Galaxy has that power. graphics show us the sort of games we could have been playing for the past year had some developers bothered to pull their finger out and actually tried to use the Wii to its full potential. Any claims that Nintendo's console is effectively a motion-sensitive GameCube are blown right out of the water when you start the game and witness the controllable intro sequence. As you make Mario approach Peach's castle during a night-time meteor party you can't help but stop and admire the incredible water effects as the light shining through the castle windows reflects on the surrounding lake, while small meteor fragments and stars rain onto the castle grounds. It doesn't let up there either. Throughout the whole game the graphics
SUITS YOU, SIR Mario has numerous suits at his disposal. Here are just two of them... Oh, Honey Honey When Mario dons the Bee Suit he has the ability to hover upwards for a short period of time. This is extremely handy for finding shortcuts and secret areas full of star fragments and coins. Mario can also climb certain vertical surfaces while in his Bee form but as soon as he touches water he becomes normal Mario again. Spooktacular The Boo Suit turns Mario into a Boo, as you may expect. This allows him to turn invisible at will and pass through certain walls (usually fences and the like). There are also a number of other power-ups available to Mario as he proceeds further into the game, but we don't want to spoil the surprise for you. To tell you any more about Super Mario Galaxy would be like giving you a packet of Maltesers that we'd already sucked the chocolate off of. We know that the vast majority of you are going to buy this, so telling you all our favourite bits would just be a case of rubbing it in because we've experienced them first. If we bought a ticket for a film at the cinema we'd hate someone to spill the beans on the showstopping set-pieces before we'd seen them for ourselves. There are so many moments in this game that had us gasping with surprise, chuckling away at cheeky nods to past games and shaking our heads at the sheer genius of it all that it'd be a crime to gaming if you didn't experience it for yourself. Out Of This World Super Mario Galaxy comes out in Japan two weeks before the UK gets it, and in America four days before. Do yourselves a favour and avoid all gaming websites if possible for that period of time (except ours, mind!). We've deliberately avoided putting a lot of spoilers in this review because we want you to experience one of the greatest games we've ever played with a completely untainted mind. "Do yourself a favour and avoid all gaming websites until Galaxy comes out"
