I swear this is the point where Bondi realises that she's toast and that she wishes that she'd never met Donald Trump. You don't get a chance to bargain with evil, you go anywhere near it and simply it f*cks your life.

It's also important to remember that Starmer had a hand in prosecuting various dodgy journos during the phone hacking trials. The UK press (Murdoch in particular) despises him for that. Along with his tenacity and refusal to compromise. They are looking to get him out.

The anti-protest actions were just shameful, as was the clumsy, cruel and downright thoughtless way they've dealt with trans right. I'm no Starmer fan-boy by any stretch, & I get that Labour are governing for the whole country, but the plane really has crashed into the mountain. It's us vs them now.
