Tip for power outages โ a carโs AC inverter plus a long cable into the house can power your fridge so you donโt lose perishables.
Your car acts like a generator. A power-efficient fridge shouldnโt draw more than 400W, so even a medium-powered inverter would work.

Competitor Overflight wanted to re-brand & sell our footage for a very small commission. We rejected them, and they DIRECTLY copied our rig.
Stinks for them, because we redesigned our rig to lower it, and they shot much of their library too high.

Transferring some of her 1980 recordings tonight!
I started shooting stock footage in 2010 while editing a William Shatner series โ
needed footage we couldnโt find in stock libraries.
So I shot my own! And kept doing that for other series I worked on.

Tip when buying microphones:
There are a TON of knock-off fakes out there for popular mics like Rode Videomic Pro and Shure SM58.
A good mic will last many years, even decades โ itโs worth buying new from an official reseller to ensure youโre getting the real thing.
My credits include:
- 60 TV eps sound editing
- 135 TV eps as a colorist
- 325 TV eps as an editor
- 240 video podcast eps produced/edited
- DP for 1 doc feature
Plus:
