Spent quite a lot of today trying to work of the house's three smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detectors was making a quiet chirping sound every minute. Pressed 'test', changed all their batteries, only to finally remember there was an ancient one upstairs I'd completely forgotten about, now sorted.

Aww, that's lovely to hear! Yeah, I think one reason booksellers have got behind is they hadn't heard of Moonflower before, which was quite refreshing.

Thinking about it, probably more practical to have a section for *not* dead or disgraced...

The Canterbury one is particularly personal as I used to work there many years ago, or at least in the old shop, as the new one is round the corner, but still. I hosted many author events there with some wonderful writers, many of whom are now either dead or disgraced.
