delicious grot! i really enjoy the mix and contrast of textures making these- halftones against watercolour& charcoal, sealed over with acrylic medium and drawn into on top, all layered up together. This one is ripped & darkened at the edges with charcoal, as if it has survived an eruption

saw this artwork yesterday and I kept thinking about it for HOURS, it's so insanely beautiful!! The character has a very saint-like feeling to them, it reminds me of saint George and the dragon but with more grief/sadness for the killing. I also looove the way you painted this

The atmosphere is mysterious and dark, and the attention is completely onto their face and the little smile curving their full lips.
