Tonight's gig: @mogwai.scot at The Music Hall, Aberdeen. So loud it took the creases out my jeans! Absolutely amazing show that definitely merited the trip up from sunny Fife. Just sensational!

OK, so I am in the restaurant, paying, and tell the waiter that I am going to see @mogwai.scot (He asked) He hasn't heard of them. I tell him the last time I was at the Music Hall was 1976 to see Jethro Tull. He says "I don't think my mum was even born then!" Do I tip him? Of course I do!

Up in sunny (for one day only) Aberdeen for @mogwai.scot at The Music Hall. Last time I was here was around 1976 for Jethro Tull. My pals had to push my clapped out Ford Anglia down Union street to jump start it after the gig.

Last night's gig at Canvas, Dundee. Great venue, packed and bouncing to the jazzy beats of corto.alto. Amazing keyboards, drums and sax, along with Liam's ridiculous bass playing and trombone.

This is the thing. I keep seeing clips of senators(or whatever) slamming what is going on and berating the officials concerned. But then? Nothing. Almost like "I've made my point. Now we can mind on. "

All the cabinet have now backed Starmer to continue as PM. So, now you can see that the whole of the top of the Labour Party are out of touch with the general public.

When is the press conference to announce Sarwar is stepping down as Labour leader in Scotland? Appears to be out of step with most cabinet ministers who are giving their support to their boss. Backed the wrong horse? Error of judgement? Stitched up?

Starmer has shown appalling judgement in at least twice appointments. Mandelson and McSweeney. No excuses.

How much will McSweeney pocket from his resignation, I wonder? I'm sure he won't go short.
