So true. Lots of groups, some with protected characteristics, some not, are slightly tiptoed around for, quite rightly, fear of offending with wrong & ignorant language & lack of understanding. But this same fear is applied to the absolutely thick, of whom there are utterly thousands (millions?).

The man who just fired the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics because their numbers supposedly weren’t accurate just claimed that he lowered drug prices in America by 1500%.

Here's Moonchild Sanelly proving what a cultural powerhouse a library really is on a Sunday afternoon.

Working with Moonchild Sanelly this afternoon in Kendal Library(daytime show - inclusive to all). The building was funded by Andrew Carnegie who created 380 such places in the UK for the 'improvement of mankind'. If a billionaire did that today it would be the most radical move ever. What a mindset.

The cashier at the grocery store told me my total for groceries was $173.34. I demanded they be fired and replaced with a cashier who will tell me I only owe $40.

The Radcliffe Maconie morning show on 6 Music has by far the best 'shout outs' and listener engagement (which can stray into the sickly during other 6 Music programmes).
And I think it's because they enriched with warm mundanity. Listeners off to pork pie festivals, & the like. Ordinary and lovely.
