It might not be a great marketing move, but I love that these super exciting MLB playoff games are on at 1:00pm on a weekday. I love listening to the satellite radio at the office, the feeling of playing hooky.

I was looking for Cade Horton's stats today. I typed "Cade" into baseball reference & learned there are 7 current MLB players named "Cade". Is this a popular name? IDK anyone named Cade. Is it like Left-handedness? Being named Cade gives you an advantage in baseball?

My glorious fantasy baseball season has come to a close. Oh well. Couple week and it'll be time to start thinking draft strategy for next year!

Beautiful day on my screen porch listening to Brewers-Jays game. I thought my wife was gonna demand my attention this afternoon, but she’s letting me veg out. Ahhhhh. I might make a drink.

I was doing zen buddhist practice in this quasi-monastic program for years. It was super intense & I loved it, but I needed time and space, so I left. I want to practice with a group and teacher, but now every other place to practice I've been to feels lame in comparison.

I love listening to music. The intense concentration & transcendence. Put on headphones, lay back & fire up some sick jazz. I like classic rock when nostalgic or exercising. Van Halen is basically weightlifting music right? But mainly jazz. A good Keith Jarrett or Bill Evans? Damn fun.

i need to figure out my mom's medical insurance. i got a letter that her medicare advantage plan is not being accepted by her doctors. Dementia is difficult enough. Throw in not understanding medicare, and the US health insurance system and whoo! Madness ensues.

I started resistance training. Can't call it "weight lifting". More like "playing with dumbbells". Surprised by how good it makes me feel. I hate the actual lifting part but I really feel good later.
