The question is: how much of these decisions are based on meaningful reform and budgetary concerns versus undue pressure from the government? 🤔

Some nuance to add: I completed my PhD at Boston U, which has also suspended some PhD programs. The reality is that grad students are under-financed and many can't find meaningful employment after graduation. We need to reform PhD programs to make them sustainable for institutions and students.

I have been to DC many times....I would never go now, not with this insanity. I don't want to be treated like a criminal just for existing there. How do restaurants even survive with an 8pm curfew?!
