There have been times I’ve wanted to throw my hands up and scrap the project. Too many technology set backs- websites blocked in the middle of use, programs/features being deleted after learning how to use

Fall into reading.

We read Leaf Thief!

My kindergartners worked on learning what a noun is and decorated a leaf with fall
Colors and a write a noun for the Fall season.

My first graders learned the differences between noun, adjective and verb. They decorated with an adjective for Fall.

My husband bought me two little tents for the library and I had no idea they were ladybugs. They are so cute!

Not sure the tiny opening is going to work though.

Do any of you have reading tents? If so, what do you have? Pics?

My kids love it and know they have to stay silent in order to hear the effects.

Yes, this is my third year and I still have Jack from the last two years. He stays outside! The kids get to visit and hear what the students did, then come up with new ways to treat this year’s Jack so he will
Actually complete his cycle. This year the students asked me to take him outside to plant

It is an amazing app!!! They have hundreds of books in the system and always adding. You select your read aloud and have the app playing in the background… it follows along as you are reading and plays special effects, voices, noises. My students thought it was magic.
