I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

A new shop selling second hand arts and crafts supplies opened last week in our neck of the woods so we gave them all our money and now have many projects that may or may not get done and happy hearts.

Highlights of today:
1) My little hometown hosted a robust Pride, and my family marched with my best friends
2) Ate a dang good burrito
3) Watched my son’s joy during his ninja class
4) A quiet night with pizza, books, and embroidery

There were sad moments too. And that’s ok. We take them all.

I’m working on it with a pair who nest by my house, spreading peanuts out every day. (The local starlings appreciate it too.) How are you doing it?
