No blue sky today but no rain either, so great for a paddle on the River Tees to the secret lagoon at Black Bobbies Field. Third time out with the Greenland paddle....think I'm getting the hang of it 🤔

Bit of a nip ❄️ in the air this am on the River Tees but Stella conditions once the sun 🌞 got going. Spotted 3 Kingfishers, 1 Little Grebe, and 1 Buzzard.
Locals 🦢🦢🦢 at the pontoon looked hungry 😉

Very calm conditions early doors on the Tees and Leven. Managed to spot an Otter 🦦, Roe Deer 🦌 and Common Sandpiper 🐦

Hi Edward, I spend a fair bit of time on the Tees from Darlington to Stockton either paddle boarding or kayaking and regularly see Otters along the whole stretch, along with tracks and spriant. So quite a few out there 🦦 good luck with your sightings 👍
