27.10.2025 11:48 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I was talking to a local expert and author (in his 70s?) on lead mining (primarily) and other local historic stuff a bit ago and he said “ the older I get, the more I want to know”
Exactly!
Thanks. The older I get, the more important these things are😂😂😂

The most interesting bit so far was ⬇️
Does she not realise the reason adverts are “full of black people, full of Asian people…” it’s exactly because of revolting individuals like her?

Seriously tho 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
We have no option but to massively restrict the use of poisons. Routine use has short term gains but it’s utterly unsustainable and damaging.

Away sadly for a few days. Could be the last trap of the season but ending on a high with two newbies for me (and the 🔲).
Started similarly with Oak beauty (NFM & 🔲)
Mebs quit whilst I’m ahead? 😂😂😂

Definitely not. Haven’t used a wallet in decades!

21.10.2025 08:25 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Can’t understand why I’m suddenly getting so many moths, 50+ last night for instance.
My last two traps in May (I was away a lot of the summer) produced only 20+ each night (decent weather too).
Btw I’m 200m up a hillside surrounded by pasture in the N Pennines.

(Not complaining) 😂
Typical Southern softies. My first was 10 days ago😂😂😂😂
