I feel like I’m in the minority in that Moyes comments don’t worry me. I don’t think it’ll drive up the prices either, everybody knows our situation. It’s not like agents couldn’t see the giant holes we had to fill before Moyes said something about it

Honestly this was kind of my expectation all along. We’re not so flush with cash that we can buy all the talent we want (nor should we) and like you’ve said it’s tough without Europe. I’m glad we are chipping away at some of the holes and as deadline nears we can probably fill more holes with loans

The phony sellout streak has been completely propped up by STMs and like you said, feels like they’re flying close to the sun especially if the team has a couple bad years

Maybe I’m wrong about this, but imo all those empty seats we see every night are STMs who don’t go or can’t resell their tickets. If the Canes alienate that fan base and begin to lose STMs I’m not sure if enough single game ticket buyers are going to fill the building on Tuesday nights anymore

Agreed. Feels like there’s almost no chance Rantanen gets moved. If you’re Carolina you just ride it out and hope for the best. If he doesn’t extend you’ve essentially traded the extra year of Necas, who wasn’t signing LT, for a run and a chance to sign Rantanen

I don’t think Rod is capable of seeing flaws in Burns unfortunately. And realistically, what do you do with the pairings? You could play Walker with Slavin but Gostisbehere/Burns would be a train wreck
