@canesstats.bsky.social feel free to fact check me and use/expand on this. I was amazed by how much success the Canes have vs bad teams at home. It makes sense, obviously, but if you’re a non playoff team you essentially don’t win in Raleigh

Not counting this year, from 2021-22 to 2024-25 (essentially post pandemic) the Canes are 72-12-3 at home vs non-playoff opposition for a points percentage of .845%. They’ve outscored their opponents 319-183 in that stretch. Thats all staggering to me…the Canes truly just smoke crap teams at home

With the Hurricanes losing to what will likely be a non-playoff team yesterday, it got me thinking. How often do the Canes lose to bad teams at home? So, I did some research and here’s what I learned:
