This photo is not from the 14 inches (40 cm) of snow we got on Sunday. All those small sticks would be buried if I tried to recreate his shot. This black and white photo is from several years ago. I like the way the wind sculpted the snow into gentle curves against the tree and the shadows brought out the texture in the snow.
