Ozzy was working on Patient Number 9 right after Ordinary Man with Andrew Watt producing. This time he has some friends along, Jeff Beck, Tony Iommi, Eric Clapton, Zakk Wylde. Its also the longest of his solo albums at 61 minutes. Ozzy is Immortal!

Ordinary Man was an unexpected album from Ozzy with Andrew Watt producing and playing guitar. Duff McKagan on bass and Chad Smith on drumsas well. It's probably his best in a long time.

Scream, released in 2010 was another album with Kevin Churko. It's the only album with Gus G on guitar. Some great songs here like Let Me Hear You Scream, Soul Sucker and Diggin' Me Down. I saw him on this tour and it was a blast!

Black Rain is the 10th studio solo album released by Ozzy. This time he teamed up with Kevin Churko and Zakk was involved in the writing on this one as well. You get some good Ozzy anthems here like I Don't Wanna Stop and Not Going Away.

Live At Budokan is Ozzy's last live album released (so far) and is great with a killer line up: Zakk, Rob Trujillo and Mike Bordin. It has a good selection his best songs from I Don't Know to Road To Nowhere. My wife saw him around this time in 2003.

Down To Earth is Ozzy Osbourne l's 8th album released in 2001. Ozzy was writing with Tim Palmer and Marti Frederiksen. Zakk did not contribute to the writing and we get a different style as a result. Ozzy has said Dreamer was inspired by John Lennon's Imagine.

Ozzy only released two studio albums in the 90's but they were both top notch. Ozzmosis contains a number of "modern" Ozzy classics like Perry Mason, I Just Want You, Tomorrow and See You On The Other Side.

Ozzy hit it big in the early 90's with No More Tears, a fantastic album and song that got a lot of radio play. Live And Loud is another great live Ozzy album recorded in 92 and were supposed to be his final live performances. Thankfully they weren't.

1988's No Rest For The Wicked marked a new era for Ozzy with Zakk Wylde. He would be the longest lasting guitarist for Ozzy and there till the end on Patient Number 9. Just Say Ozzy is a good quick live album of the early Zakk days.

Speak Of The Devil is the only Ozzy album never reissued. Seen as something record execs wanted and done as a contractual obligation its still a great live album and brings a different edge to those Sabbath songs with Brad Gillis on guitar after Randy's death.

Randy Rhoads was an immense talent and the perfect match for Ozzy. The Mr. Crowley EP was recorded on their first tour in 1980 and most of Tribute in 1981. Randy had such a future ahead of him. What a senseless loss.

After the tragic loss of the great Randy Rhoads there were big shoes to fill and Jake E. Lee did his best to do so. Bark At The Moon and The Ultimate Sin are great albums furthering Ozzy's imagery with the cool cover art on both albums.

Back to vinyl and of course I had to get into Ozzy's See You On The Other Side box set. The box is a thing of beauty! The first 2 Ozzy albums are perfection and such a comeback after being fired from Sabbath. Instant legend.

We took a trip to Pelee Island the other day. Its an hour and a half ferry ride to get there and you can rent golf carts to tour around the island with. Topped it off with good food from 1891 Stonehouse.

I've been spending the last few weeks of July at the lake for nearly 20 years and it's always beautiful and a great time. The other night was nice, having a fire while watching a thunderstorm over the lake. I've also come across a number of animal friends, no skinks yet though.

There was a cruise ship at the beach today! One week left until back to the grind...and vinyl!

Took a trip to Chatham and stopped by Suite 46 for dinner. Its attached to the Retro Suites hotel which has themes room and cool vintage decor. Great place!

Took a trip to Erieau yesterday. Stopped by Bayside Brewing for good eats and great beer. It's always nice sitting on their patio by the bay. Erieau is a beautiful little town made possible by Hartley Vidler who bought 88 acres from C&0 railroad.

Ozzy sure did change the world! This album was in heavy rotation when it came out and it remains so to this day! Ozzy dominated every decade regardless of changes in rock over the years. Gonna miss him!

When No Rest For The Wicked came out it was a big deal for me. The video Miracle Man was played regularly on CBC's Video Hits and I loved it. This was the first Ozzy album I had bought.

I'm still reeling from the loss of Ozzy. Thinking back to how it all started, 7 year me heard Crazy Train on the radio and I was hooked. I taped it on cassette and got my friend to bring his portable cassette player to school and played it every recess.
